    @Foghorn if you think back I had Toyota supplying the beer, but Tony's was so much more better if stolen.

    Oh yeah, stolen beer is a variant of "free" - one of my favorite beers.  When it's also "cold" then it is two of my very favorites.

    @bgeaddikt,

    There are some sites in parks around Stillhouse Hollow Lake.  It looks like Union Grove has availability.

    Or you can just pass out on the lawn at the Inn On The Creek.

    You might also try the Inn at Salado.  We got rooms there for about $70/night less than the Holiday Inn Express.

    Just kicking back into rotation. Can not get the new people to post so this and one more posting is all that's out there.

    I thought people just magically showed up :wink:

    Should be interesting to see how the turnout is affected by the lack of effort to promote.

    All the cooks had better starve themselves beginning today.....in case the turnout is low.  Hopefully, it's not.

    If the turnout is low that just speeds the transition into "afterparty" mode...

    Guys and girls the true purpose of the past 5 years Salado Fests would be a real reason for the before and after party. Fests are Fests, the real fun is the before & after parties. And Salado was always world class.

    It sucked for you.  Great for the rest of us.  Thanks to you.  Losing Mickey is trivial.  I'm more bummed about losing you.  So is his dog.
