Where at in Ohio?   I'm im marysville and there's a nest out by Honda that I see them all the time. Pretty cool.

lots of eagles round here if you know where to look. Got a buddy who spends his weekends getting incredible photos. 

Also, for an up close look if you are near Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, they have a habitat for injured Eagles. There are double digit Eagles in there. They work with the American eagle society.

Thanks for sharing. BE are a frequent sight during the winter months near us in IL near our IL River. My neighbor across the street is an amateur wild life photographer who owns a small fortune in camera equipment and lens. Then besides that he owns thermal ground blankets and camo upper blankets and camo wear so he can get close to these and spend hours on his belly to get pictures up close. BTW he has great patience, except for egging. He bought a large, used it twice and gave it to his b-i-l.

I believe we have some in our area here's in KC.  The closest I was to one was when I was working sercurity at Chiefs game they had one in the area where we would gather before going on to the field to do our job.  I was about 10' - 15' from it.  One of my co-workers wanted to let it.  I said I wouldn't unless it had a good on or it would or take your finger of.  This was way before camera phones or I would have a photo.  They are very cool bird's.

I go fly fishing in the mountains and there are lakes, ponds, rivers, streams on this particular day I was on a new to me pond and was trying to figure out what the fish were eating. I could not catch a damn thing for the first 4 hours and this bald eagle kept swooping right in front of me, maybe 15-20feet and catching fish! It was so mystical and he kept going maybe 6-7 times and caught a fish every time. It didn't matter that day that I did not catch any fish, it was just me and this bald eagle.
