Yeah Dwight killed it. It is a really profound movie underneath all the funny delivery of the dialog. I like both.GregW said:

GWTW is one of my all time favorites. A timeless classic and true masterpiece. If only the wind had not blown everything away. But sadly it did sister. A great movie for sure.Dredger said:6. Gone With The Wind, yea I'm Southern.Location- Just "this side" of Biloxi, Ms.

I always thought Darkman was underrated. Liam Neeson was an underrated ass-kicker back then.L, S, MM, Mini

As far as under rated, I would say Water World. It was a total flop at the box office, but I really liked it.

Underrated......+1 on Strange Brew but my vote goes to one of my favorites....Joe Dirt!
All kinds of great comedy in that flick. At the very least watch the scene about the fireworks stand, genius I tell you. -
That was on tonight and I'm sad to say I watched it.nolaegghead said:Aledo, Texas

Movies I have to watch when they are on:
Any of the Alien movies
Predator
Braveheart
Tombstone
The Princess Bride
Any old Planet of the Apes movies
Dumb and Dumber
Mad Max: Return to Thunderdome
Hunt for Red October
I'm sure there are more.
If you want a really good tear jerker movie (other than Old Yeller), watch Finding Neverland. I don't tear up at many movies but this one will do it. Great story with an actual plot and all the actors, even the kids, did an excellent job. I'm not a big Johnny Depp fan but he was good in this and I think it was his best role. Your wife/girlfriend will love it. Have tissues handy.Aledo, Texas

I'm not sure how underrated the Godfather movies are, most pundits put them as two of the best films ever made. And The Big Chill was nominated for Best Picture, Best Supporting Actress, and Best Screenplay Oscars.jabam said:was clicking through the channels and "A time to kill" came on. I have seen this movie at least 20 times, and have to watch every time I come across it! What's your must watch movie? I have a few more.
Godfather I and II
Tombstone
The Big Chill
To name a few
Tombstone is one of my favorites, and absolutely underrated.
Two others that are criminally neglected:
Devil in a Blue Dress and Diggstown. If you liked the ones you listed, you will like both of those.

If only the wind had not blown everything away.
Indeed sad, but true @SGH. I have a friend that refers to the Civil War as the "great misunderstanding".
No votes for Caligula?
Now that's funny @JohnInCarolina. I actually left the theater half way through the movie and demanded my money back.
On a lighter note, another great underrated comedy is Amos and Andrew with Nicolas Cage, Samuel L. Jackson, and Dabney Coleman. Ran across that DVD while I was looking for my copy of My Cousin Vinny.
