A couple of filets

Just some basic filets. Salt, pepper, garlic. Vac sealed and into the sous vide for a couple of hours. _________________________________________________________________________________________

These turned out amazing. The meat was as smooth as butter. I cooked them at 130 in the sous vide for 2.5 hours then on the egg for about 3 minutes per side.

I'll alway respond to a thread that involves filets. That is a couple of very nice steaks my friend; cooked to perfection.

Wow... Them filets look spot on. You can tell the texture is like butter!Charlotte, NC - Large BGE 2014, Maverick ET 733, Thermopen, Nest, Platesetter, Woo2 and Extender w/Grid, Kick Ash Basket, Pizza Stone, SS Smokeware Cap, Blackstone 36"

Nice looking steaks. I'd devour one for sure.Coleman, Texas
Large BGE & Mini Max for the wok. A few old camp Dutch ovens and a wood fired oven. LSG 24” cabinet offset smoker. There are a few paella pans and a Patagonia cross in the barn. A curing chamber for bacterial transformation of meats...
"Bourbon slushies. Sure you can cook on the BGE without them, but why would you?"

Thanks for the comments. I started with very good meat but the sous vide process makes it almost fool proof. SWMBO said that they were the best I've ever fixed.
