A couple of filets

Just some basic filets. Salt, pepper, garlic. Vac sealed and into the sous vide for a couple of hours.

  • These turned out amazing.  The meat was as smooth as butter. I cooked them at 130 in the sous vide for 2.5 hours then on the egg for about 3 minutes per side.

I'll alway respond to a thread that involves filets.  That is a couple of very nice steaks my friend; cooked to perfection.

Any road will take you there if you don't know where you're going.

  • Wow... Them filets look spot on.  You can tell the texture is like butter!

  • Thanks for the comments. I started with very good meat but the sous vide process makes it almost fool proof. SWMBO said that they were the best I've ever fixed.
