    Nice, good luck.

I took a swing at one over the holidays... but only have pre-cook shots. Brother-in-law was in town and took the after cook shots and has yet to send them to me. I know... no pix, and it did not happen... my family and guest will say otherwise as they made quick work of the hunk of beef.

  • Well, it turned out good. Very beefy flavor. Everyone enjoyed it.
I thought it would be more tender than it was.
I only had the flat. I still have most of the point left.
I thought it would have been a little moister also.
I also did the PPP apps that @johnincarolina did a few weeks back. They were awesome.

Forget the flat-get yourself into the point.  BTW-a great cook across the board. Congrats.

Nice. I still have yet to take that plunge.
I thought I was only one. I am trying to lunch pennies for my kitchen renovation and a deck. I just roll with choice for now

What do you do with it when it came off the egg?

Not as tender...more moist.  It honestly looks a lil over cooked.  This could have happened while you were waiting on the last spot to soften up, or during rest.  The latter depends on how you answer the question above.

The good news is that point should be incredible!!
Just a hack that makes some $hitty BBQ....
  • I left it rest for about 10 min before FTC for about 2 hrs. I think I should have pulled it sooner instead of trying to get that spot to loosen up.
