Glad to see the Pack go packing. Larry Fitzgerald is well deserving of that win.

Lousy officiating ,that's all there is to say about that .NOT sour grapes,I live in NJ and really don't care who wins.

Couldn't agree more. Didn't end up mattering really. Sucks the we wasted another year of our HOF quarterbacks career. I liked Fitz a lot better before yesterday's game but cmon- he was the only guy on the screen when he caught that pass and we missed 4 tackles on the 75 yd gain. 2 years in a row Rodgers can't get back in game in OT. Ok- done ventingsctdg said:Lousy officiating ,that's all there is to say about that .NOT sour grapes,I live in NJ and really don't care who wins.LBGE in Elm Grove, WI -
Missing tackles isn't Fritz's fault. He gave an awesome stiff arm on the play as well. The first "missed" tackle wasn't really a missed tackle. He just put the afterburners on and jetted away from Matthews. Great game all and all. When Rodgers threw up that last Hail Mary and the receiver caught it, my mouth was wide open as if to say "No Way." Then they flashed to Lacy and he as sayings same thing. Great finish to a great game. Carson Palmer gets his playoff win as does Fitzgerald. I like the Packers better. But I'm ok with Arazona winning. Today will be tough. I like both the AFC teams and neither of the NFC teams. None the less, it was a great game. These playoffs have been good, as long as I don't remember the beat down put on the Texans.LBGE, Weber Grills, Silverback Pellet grill, PBC. No I don't have a grill issue.

What? All the credit in the world to Fitzgerald and Palmer on that play! Palmer makes an uncharacteristically athletic play to find Fitzgerald wide open. Then a really great run by Fitzgerald after the catch. Nice play call on the TD to cap it off.Wanasmoke said:I liked Fitz a lot better before yesterday's game but cmon- he was the only guy on the screen when he caught that pass and we missed 4 tackles on the 75 yd gain.
The only thing that kind of sucks about it is the overtime rules. Would have been nice to see the Packers get a possession too.L, S, MM, Mini

McCarthy should've gone for two. I know hindsight, but I thought it at the time as well. Mike Tomlin would have gone for two. All you need is two yards, and you have Aaron Rodgers. I understand his reluctance to put the whole season on one play, but deferring the outcome is an illusion. The Packers were 4/6 on two point conversions in 2015, second best in the NFL.
Coaches don't like those kinds of decisions because they don't like taking blame for them when they don't work. OT is the safe choice. But going for two is the right choice.
Plus, it would have been cool as hell. 22 of the game's best on an untimed play for all the marbles. What's the most you ever lost on a coin toss? -
This is big boy football unlike college. #defensemattersTbent said:The only thing that kind of sucks about it is the overtime rules. Would have been nice to see the Packers get a possession too. -
Defense loses championships. The best receiver in the NFL is left wide open, in overtime. Pack deserved the loss.
They had 60 minutes to win the game, and they did not get it done. It goes to OT, you get what you get.
Too many third down conversions given up the entire game.
Good luck to the Cards. They won the game."Knowledge is Good" - Emil Faber

I personally like the OT rule as it is, if Packers D got a stop or held them to a FG then led a TD drive, no one would be talking about it.
I think the catch rule needs to be overhauled, to catch a ball out of bounds you have to play a full round of Euchre while not letting the ball move is a bit much.
