Apparently Roswell Hardware sold 178 Eggs on 12/5. How much?

According to their FB site, they had a demo day and sold 178 Eggs. That's more than every retailer sells in two years in my area!
Any idea how much they were selling for?

I bought an XL there last Christmas, it was $1099 with platesetter, nest grid tool, and a bag of lump.
It was the Friday before Christmas, and there was a line of people loading them up. They had a forklift running back and forth toting eggs the whole time. They told me they were selling 100 a day during the week, and pushing 200 on the previous Sat. That is a lot of $$$$$ -
That's my favorite place to shop for my addiction! I can believe the numbers. There will be having another big event this Saturday that I'm pissed that I'm going to miss...... But I have a good excuse - an open bar at a Christmas party!

And they also will clear about the same amount in Yeti's - cups and coolers!

Yes, it's true. I was there demoing and watched every single Egg roll out of the door. There were a ton of multi Egg purchases too. It was like nothing I've ever seen before. Chad from KickAshBasket & Tom from CeramicGrillStore both flew in as well.
BTW- I'll be there again tomorrow with a crew serving up some tasty goodness! -
I should be able to stop by tomorrow._________________________________________________Don't let the truth get in the way of a good story!Large BGE 2006, Mini Max 2014, 36" Blackstone, Anova Sous Vide

They not only keep all egg related products in stock they also keep kick ash baskets and ceramic grill store and thermapens and lots of rubs and yetis and they're a stihl dealer. Probably my favorite place to drop by during lunch and see what's new. May try to get in there today.

Where is the Roswell hardware store?
I would rather light a candle than curse your darkness.

It's like 5 miles from my work I am lucky but my debit card isn't. I have been eyeing a new stihl hedge trimmer and I need some blue hog also.

I would be the exact same way. I have a gun store less than a mile down the road from my work. They started carrying Eggs. They also have Pelican and Yetis. I go there probably once a week.Lit said:It's like 5 miles from my work I am lucky but my debit card isn't. Yikes. Their 2.3 rating on Google with 43 reviews doesn't help their image either. Generally you can discount a few bad reviews but an army of them is just sad. Maybe it's just Atlanta people that feel the need for their butts being kissed and the owners won't do it. IDK. Maybe the owners ARE jerks if you don't look rich. Who knows???? I can only imagine this guy though haha.

I had called them several times a couple years ago and they were kinda asses whoever was working there then. Someone said not long ago the kids took over or something like that but who knows. They have always been great in person though.THEBuckeye said:I found this interesting regarding Roswell Hardware. Surprising but interesting.

@kwdickert @THEBuckeye It's very clear that the hardware side of the business is not their main focus. My suggestion is that you go to Home Depot/Lowes for your nuts and bolts. However, they are the BGE Superstore for all of your BGE branded and aftermarket accessories.

No worries man! I live too far away to shop with them anyway!Memphis TN - Large Green Egg -
I'll share my experience when I went there two weeks ago (before the demo)...
I was simply amazed at the amount of inventory and options they had on the shelf! I felt like a kid in a candy store. I got to see all the cool accessories that my dealer doesn't even know exist. And I bought a few items, totaling about $75 and probably would have bought more if not for the employees. They just plain sucked. They were condescending, rude and short with me and other customers. And they weren't that busy. I was shocked at their attitudes. Maybe it's how the big city works, maybe I wrongly expect my decision to spend money somewhere should be appreciated- I don't know. Luckily I don't have to make the decision to go back since they are about two hours away, but I can't say I'd be overly excited going there if I lived within thirty minutes. -

So an Ace Hardware that's not focused on hardware. Obviously they sling a lot of BGE stuff and Stihl but, at the end of the day I would bet inventory would prove hardware and such still dominate overall. Of course they focus more on BGE & Stihl sales because of the profit margin. It's Ace Hardware but, they don't want to help customers with hardware needs? Yep sounds like an awesome place to shop.

They are a Do It Best. I'm just explaining it as I see it.
