I was thankful today....

I was thankful for so many friends and family that reached out to our family today. Made me give many thanks for having great people surrounding us.
On top of that, my wife and I cooked some great vittles. I really only snagged a picture of the turkey though.
Our menu consisted of the following:
Turkey
Ham
Mashed Potatoes
Gravy
Dressing
Asparagus w/Hollandaise
Mashed Sweet potatoes
Fresh cranberry sauce
Stuffed cranberry sauce
Green bean casserole
Homemade rolls
Chocolate chip cookie w/vanilla ice cream
Pee-can pie
Sweet tea to wash it down.
Here was the star of the show....

Great color on that bird. I'm really glad you had a good Thanksgiving Matt. Even though you've had a tough year, you've still got a lot to be thankful for my friend.

My wife got a beautiful flower center piece as a memorial for my Mom to go on the dinning room table. I was exactly my Mom, beautiful, colorful, and vibrant. A few things she normally makes for Thanksgiving, I had to do. I tried, but they just weren't the same. Nothing beats that Momma cooking love.------------------------------
