I've smoked just about everything but haven't tried olive oil. Is this a new Colorado thing?

When I was young I smoked a good bit of hash oil. Never tried to smoke olive oil. It seems like it would choke you.
Location- Just "this side" of Biloxi, Ms.

I'm just going by what you posted yourself...89..probably 91 by now. That would put you in your 20s in the 40s. Long before reefer madness.

Just thinking it might be something good dang sure different
maybe cold smoking the oil then usin it for a chicken fry steak just a thought -
you can buy it online so why not. thinking a drizzle with fish cooked in parchment, drizzled into hummus etc. frying with it im betting the smoke flavor would get lost

Maybe a nice smoky salad dressing....
