Because I care about you all. Your my internet brothers and making sure you don't buy crap is very important to me as I drink on Friday night.theyolksonyou said:@lit why do you care how I spend my money? -

Why buy a knock-off for half the price when a Coleman 6 day marine extreme is 1/4 the price of the knock-off.

@lit I'm really touched by your concern. Most of these bastards only want me to spend more.

@DoubleEgger if there's one thing that makes me mad is when someone suggests their cheaper or more expensive cooler is better than mine. Or their lump. Or their cooker. Maybe thermometer choices make me mad too but mostly on Tuesdays.DoubleEgger said:Why is everyone getting butthurt over a damn cooler? Why do you give a rat's ass what cooler somebody else bought?

My coolers suck. It is the party that counts. So far, I am the more hip than the most interesting man alive, because I drink when I am not Thirsty!!!!!!!"Knowledge is Good" - Emil Faber

@YukonRon you need some polar bears...
-
RTIC, IGLOOs and Polar Bears? Hell no, I want a dog sled! I'm gonna make me an overpriced cooler line called Iditarod. Each size will be named after a dog that won the race!"Knowledge is Good" - Emil Faber

With a name like @YukonRon I assume you know some dog names...

@YukonRon ... Hey Ron, there are some reasonable bargains out there if you watch and wait. The 24 Polar Bear Cooler looks good ... very good ... split a shipment with my brother-in-law ... so, half price plus half the shipping cost. My Pelican 35 was $159 with shipping & taxes ... today it's $233 with shipping & taxes.
The missus made me throw out some of our old cheap, never-really-kept-it-cold coolers, but that was a good compromise.

Dude, no kidding. That's how I got this name. I dated some dog ugly women. Got drunk, like a UK football game. It got ugly early.theyolksonyou said:With a name like @YukonRon I assume you know some dog names..."Knowledge is Good" - Emil Faber

I'm disappointed that none of these threads have yet gone the way of the buffalo. I mean c'mon, it's Friday night, step it up!They/Them

I have dozens of coolers, most left by friends, that have come you our seafood boils, pizza nights, parties. They just leave them. We keep them stacked in the basement for them to reclaim. That is how I know a good cooler. We have one of everything almost.Jeepster47 said:@YukonRon ... Hey Ron, there are some reasonable bargains out there if you watch and wait.
