Stiles Switch BBQ

Review-
Brisket- for me brisket is pass/ fail- this was Pass
Pork- Incredible, even gave us the end piece for more flavor
Jalapeno Sausage- this is why I go there
Mac n Cheese, Potato Salad, Cole Slaw- All good

XLBGE, LBGECharbroil Gas Grill, Weber Q200, Old Weber Kettle, Rectec RT-B380, Yeti 65, Yeti Hopper 20, RTIC 20, RTIC 20 Soft Side - Too many drinkware vessels to mention.

Not quite in Austin, TX City Limits
Just Vote- What if you could choose "none of the above" on an election ballot? Millions of Americans do just that, in effect, by not voting.  The result in 2016: "Nobody" won more counties, more states, and more electoral votes than either candidate for president.

Looks great.  How's the line there?  I will be in Austin for a short time next week and would like to pick up some good brisket to go.

XXL BGE, Karebecue, Klose BYC, Chargiller Akorn Kamado, Weber Smokey Mountain, Grand Turbo gasser, Weber Smoky Joe, and the wheelbarrow that my grandfather used to cook steaks from his cattle

@FoghornI got there at 11.15- no line.  When I left ~12.30 line wasnt bad.  I have been there though and seen some longer lines but not stupid lines like other places.

Wow! I just looked at the pics on their site. If it tastes as good as it looks, I'd sure go. If I ever make it to Austin, this is the kind of place I'll look for, good food without the hype... or the line. Sorry, Aaron. ;)=)

I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

    Thanks @xfire_ATX, and @texaswig,

That may be exactly the place I'm looking for.

  • I have to get over there. I haven't tried it yet. I want to go to Valentina's Tex mex BBQ also. Supposed to be really good

We need to do an Austin meet up at one of these places on a lovely fall Saturday here soon. Someone should put that together
