Well, $3.99/Lb is better than I've seen for a while. Untrimmed, so I cut off a bunch of fat, but still a pretty good deal. Rubbed with DP Game On, reverse sear with some duck fat and parsley red potatoes. Good stuff.

Great looking cook!
We used to be able to by bags of 6 or7 tri tips from Costco but they quit carrying them last April (I think they figured out Knoxville was East of the Mississippi river). So when we can find them, I don't worry too much about price
