Cheap Tri Tip

Well, $3.99/Lb is better than I've seen for a while. Untrimmed, so I cut off a bunch of fat, but still a pretty good deal. Rubbed with DP Game On, reverse sear with some duck fat and parsley red potatoes. Good stuff.

That's a good looking cook and sweet price.  I usually pay 5-6.

We used to be able to by bags of 6 or7 tri tips from Costco but they quit carrying them last April (I think they figured out Knoxville was East of the Mississippi river).  So when we can find them, I don't worry too much about price

Yeah, I usually pay around $6.99 per lb, good deal, cooked it just right.
