Plus all this said above doesn't make sense. How can it be smaller with thicker walls and hold more? That can't be possible it's simple math.
Yeah I would also like to see an explanation for this.  Lit's right here -this part does not add up.
The RTIC coolers are actually a tad bit larger and heavier.

    https://www.rticcoolers.com/compare-rtic-45-to-yeti-tundra-45-cooler
I was going by the thread where photo egg got his but he was comparing the size and capacity to a pelican not a Yeti. So it's smaller and holds more than a pelican with thinner walls but larger and holds more than a yeti with thicker walls I guess.
Yes...I made a comparison to the RTIC 65 after I placed it next my Pelican 45.
The Pelican design gives it a very large foot print.
I have a Subaru Outback. I'm limited in space when I travel. The Pelican takes up so much space compared to the RTIC.
The Pelican design with their handles, latches and cooler locking holes take up valuable space. The RTIC/Yeti design has less wasted space by design. Just the facts...
I also like the softer rounded edges of the RTIC coolers compared to the Pelican.
