Under the heading "Ya just gotta laugh"....
Mindful of the fact that we just had "The Great Rub & Sauce Exchange of 2015" (in which we participated) we walked into our local supermarket this morning.
Now our local market is constantly rearranging the aisles (much to my wife's consternation), and when they do they create "overstock", which they put on racks in the back of the store and mark down to "blow-out" prices.
Today there were about 100 bottles (with an expiration date of Sept. 2016) of Sweet Baby Ray's Original and Honey BBQ sauce... at 60 cents each!!
As I started to reach for some the wife said "Don't even think about it!"

Which begs the question... Can you ever have too much BBQ sauce??

that's funny. my wife just came back with a two-pack of the big SBR bottles from Sam's because "we don't have any 'regular' BBQ sauce in this house any more"

My wife just did exactly the same thing. I have an entire box of unique sauces from the two exchanges I have participated in and I have 3 homemade sauces in the fridge. She comes home with a GIANT two pack of SBR with explicit directions that I'm not allowed to modify, "DR," or change these bottles in any way, lol. She just wants some "real" bbq sauce. Man that is a great deal. I would have to grab at least a couple of bottles of each for emergency purposes. I like to mix SBR about 50/50 with a vinegar based sauce I keep on hand for pulled pork.
Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg. -
Just add a little burbon to the SBR's and then you have some even better sauce!

My wife bought a two pack at Costco recently because she wants some "traditional BBQ sauce" Sometimes I wonder who kicked her palate when she was younger.

@UncleFred, the exchange aside, at that price, I'd be all over at least 3-4 bottles!

Don't know why this popped into my head, but, I wonder if SBR could be frozen into popsicles. 'Q-sicles, if you will. Or frozen and shaved onto watermelon? Sweet, and cool, the sweet and hot...

Well, I married me a wife, she's been trouble all my life,

Last night had chicken strips and fries with the 3 year old granddaughter - her favourite dip is SBR. At least she has moved past using straight ketchup. I tried SBR honey chipotle which was on sale at Fred Meyers last month, $1 a bottle - 60 cents is great.Delta B.C. - Whiskey and steak, because no good story ever started with someone having a salad!

Expiration date of 9/16 means it's still good until 9/20 and beyond.
My wife will throw stuff away because it "expired". She doesn't believe me when I tell her she's only doing what they want her to do, there's no way for them to know when it has gone bad, they just have lawyers on payroll.
I would have bought them all, pour the contents into mason jars, add vinegar spices Tabasco and tomato paste, and canned it all for storage in the garage with a sticky on it saying "does not ever expire honey".
