CI sliders
quick and simple tonight, used the gas burner
pickes up some 85/15 sliders from HEB, once I opened them I realized they were nothing more than a sliced chub, oh well. Dusted them with some chupacabra and tossed them into a hot CI pan with a light coating of evoo to just to get them started.
someone posted a week or so ago about brushing burgers with better than boullion, so I ran with that idea and mixed it with butter instead of water since I didn't want to decrease the crust formation. I brushed them while cooking, this helped make up for the leaner meat.
worked out really well, served on Kings Hawaiian rolls with a thick layer of jalapeño better than good bacon jam, whataburger spicy ketchup, a touch of mayo and a Famous Dave's spicy pickle. I think I could've eaten 30 of these.

Looks like a winner to me my friend. I couldn't help but notice that Whataburger ketchup in the pic. I love the stuff. Wish that we could buy it down here.

Those look great! But, Whataburger ketchup... who knew?---------------------------------------------------------------------------------Well, "spa-Peggy" is kind of like spaghetti. I'm not sure what Peggy does different, if anything. But it's the one dish she's kind of made her own.____________________Aurora, Ontario, Canada
