Trying too.  My gifs not working on the forum.  This time I'm further from my wood pile, but closer to my deck.  Not sure about that.

Watching my wife paint the living room and kitchen . That's right watching.  I'd rather take a a$$-whipping then paint.

My youngest bday party is tomorrow night.

Me: "what kind of food do you want for the party?"
    him: "pork butt!"
Me: "ok". (Stick chest out and strut around)

now, rubbing down 15# of pork butt wondering how much sleep I'll get tonight and dreading work tomorrow. I'd do it again next week though!

Just threw on two 10 pound butts for a work BBQ competition tomorrow at lunch. Gonna ride it out at 225ish for the next 20 hours or so. The Boston butts have been marinating for the last 36 hours

Upgrading our range/oven, manbearcave refrigerator and bed frame.

Have to weld some custom brackets to get the articulating sleep number frame to fit in the sleigh bed frame.  Pain in da ass.

Just ordered a quiet inverter generator to run the portable AC and other AC stuff on the boat, and for camping and tailgating.

    Rebuilding a built-in to a stand-alone for my neighbors.

    Busy day.

Normally I use mustard as a base and pull together my own spices for a dry rub. I just spend a lot of time online looking for something that looks good and then use my own ingredients at home to normally make it a bit spicier.

however, this time I experimented by using butter as a base on one of them to see if it will have any benefit. It probably won't but I've done so many butts that it's time to try something outside the box.

I'm looking over my first "Kickstarter" experience; it's an Atlas motorcycle throttle lock:

I invested $75 last fall into this guy's idea, he's kept me informed via emails throughout the design/manufacturing processes and now I've got one!  It mounts between the handgrip and the middle of the handlebar (it's about as thin as a credit card at the top) and locks the throttle in place with a push of the button on the lower left.  Most throttle locks require a twist of a ring at the end of the grip, which is damn near impossible to do single-handed with your throttle hand.
Anxious to try this out.  It's still over 100 F outside so it'll probably wait until Saturday morning

Just rubbed two 9 lb butts to put on tomorrow night.  Most will get pulled, portioned and vacusealed for my kids' freezers, what's left after I eat Saturday night of course.
