Awesome time! The family is now at the hotel's pool while I shower, but I'm drinking a beer and procrastinating. No adult beverages were allowed at the venue by park rules. A lot of people were drinking SOMETHING from Tervis cups. Lots of beer and I saw some Jim Beam & Cokes. I like bourbon, but it was a bit too warm for that for me. @evie1370 and her hubby (Claire & Fred) brought a few microbrews from Cincy and they were outstanding! Their beer was great too! I'm using my phone for this so photos will have to wait until I'm back home.Flint, Michigan

I thought alcoholic enablers were "off-limits"?? You mean Eggheads moved past the rules

An EggFest that everyone can remember everything.. Could be the start of something. Sure be a new idea.
Tony you did good my friend. CongratsSalado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Just given a Mini to add to the herd. -
Looks like you pulled off a good time Tony. Like a senior prom, everyone was under-aged (dry county) but had Yetis full of ethanol. I knew I liked you for some reason.

Tony did a great job! The venue was terrific! The kids all had fun while the adults socialized (drank), cooked great food and ate too much. I admit I had some reservations when I heard the about the no booze rule, but no problems & everything was great!
First class Tony! Thanks for the good times yesterday. I'll post a photo or two when I get home.Flint, Michigan -
The one that got away.
If you guys had been more glutinous, this was my cook that I would have done between egg rolls and pineapple.
Pulled pork taquitos.
Pulled pork and pepper jack (would have been crumbly queso, but it had gone south) wrapped in a flour tortilla. Brushed with egg wash the heavy with coarse sea salt and a light handed habanero death dust.
On the egg ID at 350 until crisp. 20 min or so, who knows.
Plated with fresh guacamole and Mexican crema.
