I know this could garner an endless list of opinions, but I am trying to get some ideas on some of the best store/online-bought seasonings out there. So far I've used my own mix for my few cooks, but would like to add a few go-to bottles of seasoning to my cabinet as well. I did a search, but "seasoning" is just too broad of a search term, so would probably take a month to find a thread that applies

Dizzy Pig is a forum favorite. That have a pretty broad line and I like all the ones I've had. Meat Church is another winner. I have a ton in my cabinet but Those brands are my favorite.

dizzy pig is always good, zatar, pizza, and herd da province from penzeys. i like the cabellas open seasons babyback rib rub and would probably like their others. lysanders spicey bourbon for brisket is a nice pepper based rub

If I'm not mixing my own I'm using dizzy pig. They have a wide range of flavors and I've yet to meet one I don't like.

I probably like Oakridge, Dizzy Pig, and Penzey's best. Others that I've used that are good are Yardbird, Bad Byron's, Bone Suckin', and Cluck & Squeal.

Oakridge is another one of my favorites also. It is made just 10 miles from my house. I was hoping to take an all beef cooking class this Saturday from the guy who created it, but my son's T-Ball game is at the same time unless it is rained out and then I am there. I am sick of rain, but I kind of hope this one gets rained out. By the way all these rubs are made in the Kansas City area. I hear Pellet Envy is good too, but haven't tired it yet. It's on my list to.

DP is solid. All of John Henry's I've tried were good, and some really good. I've been happy with the "Spice House" products. Their Bronzeville rib rub is very good. BTW, I've read they are another branch of the Penzey family. Another merchant starting w. P, Pendrey's from Texas. Remarkable chili powder mixes, and over all, good fresh flavors.

Those plowboy rubs are good. I use PB yardbird on everything pork or chicken. I use bovine bold on beef and deer. Yardbird is my " go to" for most anything. Probably my favorite all around store bough rub.

I've got some DP, Oakridge, MC Holy Cow etc and use them but I prefer "small batch" rubs better like local BBQ joints, and regional favorites. That's why I'm looking forward to the rub exchange.

I really like what I've tried of John Henry's, especially his brisket rub.. Others I've tried and enjoyed include Dizzy Pig Dizzy Dust and Bad Byron's Butt Rub.. BBBB has a bit of kick to it, and I sometimes cut it with some additional brown sugar.
