BGE Ad - check this out..

Wife and I thought this was pretty funny..latest ad from the big Egg dealer in the area.
I know there are a lot of women eggheads, but kinda a bizarre ad when you wonder what the target market they were trying to reach was..
I mean - she looks like she's from 1955, cooking in the middle of a garden dressed in nicer clothes (bound to get grease, smoke and lump residue all over everything).
Weird.

Yeah, that's funny - super clean egg and I think she's pulling the pork right there. I suppose they're trying to reach out to more women.THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER

Is your dealer in MI? Could be the demographics of typical egg buyers. Talking to local BBQ store folks, the kamado market is largely those over 50 (thinking he was being nice as I am a senior) Interesting ad.Delta B.C. - Whiskey and steak, because no good story ever started with someone having a salad!

@Dobie I'll buy three BGEs thank you. But, this probably wouldn't sell for the ladies.LBGE 2013 & MM 2014Die Hard HUSKER & BRONCO FANFlying Low & Slow in "Da Burg" FL

Thanks. That is much nicer and more appropriate than all the answers I came up with.NPHuskerFL said:@Ozzie_IsaacShaking My HeadI would rather light a candle than curse your darkness.

@Ozzie_Isaac where's the food? Even the lady in the ad had fake food.

Smooth as a baby's ass and the model's is, too. Never knew BGE made a smooth exterior surface and in that color green. I'm a Senior and she got my attention. Whoot!!
-
I did not give the photographer instructions to hide that minor error. She keeps telling me she can't read minds too. You figure by now she would know what I want.DoubleEgger said:@Ozzie_Isaac where's the food? Even the lady in the ad had fake food.

Interesting, she's left handed and the lower vent screen is to the right of the sliding door, wonder if the old Kodak negative was reversed when they developed the print?canuckland

Is that an older BGE? Is this a vintage photo, or a modern throwback photo?Dobie said:

I have spent my morning studying the lady's tan lines to determine swim suit style in an effort to approximate the timeline of the photo. I'm thinking late 70's or early 80's?
I'm very curious, so I suppose I'll go over the photo with a magnifying glass to see what else I can deduce. The model's dimples on her lower back are distracting me from my research. This would be much easier if she looked like Rosanne Barr.Phoenix -
To post your disapproval apparently, sorry if I offended your delicate sensibilities.PNWFoodie said:

Actually, it is Royal Oak MI, not the cooking tar.....PNWFoodie said:They lost me at Royal Oak.....Delta B.C. - Whiskey and steak, because no good story ever started with someone having a salad! -
That's Roseanne on the right, in the green dress.
