Of what purpose is including posts with in excess of 1000 responses on the Forum list? It seems any post with more than 200 responses should be diverted to a separate area as it gets exceedingly difficult to read the most recent posts.

well, if it's on the front page or two, it's active, people are adding to it - it's a conversation. if it's not active, then it sinks. I don't see the value in having a number of responses cutoff. beyond page 2 and is about the same as diverting it

There is a big difference between "views" and "comments". I'm all for the open forum and you never now where a thread will go. I am with @tarheelmatt- you never know when "Devastated" will surface again. And you can view, comment or pass. YMMV-Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood.
