My latest attemp at trying to make something remotely like pizza. None of it is homemade. All store bought items. Nonetheless it was pretty good for a rainy night.

I would love to see someone who is really good at it demonstrate how to make them. Especially from scratch. We need a volunteer.DMW said:Maybe we should add pizza to the topics list at Brisket Camp?Location- Just "this side" of Biloxi, Ms.

Funny Pizza came up big today. This weekend I'm experimenting with 5 different homemade doughs to see which will be best. We like NY style with some crisp and chew. I know I'm a little ocd when it comes to pizza. I'm cooking all five tonight (made doughs yesterday), but in the oven. Pizza stone coming this week for the egg. I split all 5 doughs in half so will repeat experiment on the egg and post the outcome. I'm no expert at all. Just like to experiment! Hoping at least one will be really good. Don't know why my pics don't post in order but you'll get it.

I am not a huge Indian foodie, but I do like naan - and as a pizza, nice and easy.. I finally found a good pizza dough recipe (made with semolina flour) and has turned out great - it is one of our favorite pizzas. I also make my own sauce for it... super simple Peeled whole romas, garlic, evoo a bit of water and maybe some Italian herbs and maybe a bit of sugar if the tomatoes are too acidic. very simple.

@SGH, it took me 4 tell I got my last 2 to get it right the first time I did pizza. Looking good sir.XL, WSM, Coleman Road Trip Gas GrillKansas City, Mo.

@hapster- You always close the show with alcohol and tobacco. That said, this seemed fitting somehow. This pic is for you brother Hap.

@spydermunkey, it's not hard and you don't need a stand mixer. And it's fun! I'll post results once I can cook pizza on egg. In the oven SWMBO and preferred the 1:1 00/bread flour. Happy cooking! I just hope for results like @SGH.Sandy Springs & Dawsonville Ga

@SGH man the egg looked hot, what temp did you cook them on?
