Definitely not that far into Spring, but it's been one of the warmest winters on record. We could of used more snow pack that's for sure.allsid said:Steven

Like no place on earth - are those the Big Horns?
Cooks look excellent - as someone above noted, missed your overnight or morning cooks after your night shift. You made up for it today!Delta B.C. - Whiskey and steak, because no good story ever started with someone having a salad! -
Welcome back ... have missed both the cooks and the scenic pics. As to Devastated ... kind of like living in California ...

Thanks @Skiddymarker, they are the Big Horns. The Eastside foothills about 30 miles south of the MT border. I always recommend that people traveling to Yellowstone from the East use one of the highways out Buffalo or Sheridan to go over the mountains. Definitely worth the few hours added to the trip. BTW, I'm liking the new avatar.Skiddymarker said:Like no place on earth - are those the Big Horns?

Glad to see you back posting brother stem. As always, the grub looks great. I sure would swap weather with you. It's been green down here in Dixie for a half century. Give or take a little.
Location- Just "this side" of Biloxi, Ms.
Status- Standing by.

Thanks. It's been mostly nice here. Don't really want to switch. I'm not a fan of the weather in the south, summer or winter. We've had some warm 50-65° days. Weather is erratic this time of year, but overall very nice.SGH said:Glad to see you back posting brother stem. As always, the grub looks great. I sure would swap weather with you. @stemc33- You would love our winters. Humid and hot in the shade. Our summers are even better. Real humid and real hot in the shade. What more could you ask for

Never been on "this side" of Biloxi,MS but I remember freezing my @$$ off in Georgia and South Carolina during the winter and of course I don't even need to mention the summers. I've been in the hot desert playing sports in California and never seen someone have a heat stroke. My experience with heat casualties was cramps. Went to Georgia and seen people doing the kickin' chicken stroking out.SGH said:@stemc33- You would love our winters. Humid and hot in the shade. Our summers are even better. I had to look up Lingle. Looks like your near some good fishing spots. You should consider adding your location in your signature line. It's always nice to know where everybody's from. Makes it nice if you want information when your traveling. Our fellow EggHeads are always looking for the best eats or must see things when they travel.WyBBQer said:@stemc33 I live in Lingle WYSteven
