So long peeps!

Roasted some Peeps tonight after our pizza cook. They are pretty awesome. It's like Peep creme brûlée. The kids had a blast.

Nice.  I bought a bunch of easter candy the other day...because it was half off.  Brought it home and SWMBO told me to get it the F out of the house.  So I took it to work to get them fat. The end.

Looks like a heck of a good time with the family to me. You did make me realize that I have been doing it wrong, I normally eat them raw!!

Have you ever done a peep war?  You jam a toothpick between 2 peeps and put them in the microwave. The one left lying on its back with the toothpick sticking up is the loser. Always a crowd pleaser.

Did you Search Peep show?  Peeps are a marshmallow with a fine granular coating on the outside. Our Easter Bunny brings them.

Never thought of roasting Peeps. Great idea.
Peeps are like crack to SWMBO, she’ll eat four packages during the 15 minute drive from Bellingham to the border - she is a purist, won’t touch the chocolate covered ones.

I used to open the package and let them dry for a week or two. Better when a little chewy   but that grilling method looks great.

there is always peeps jousting... take two of the birdy peeps and put a toothpick in them.  Then set them in the microwave facing each other with the other end of the toothpick facing the other peep.  Now turn on the uwave and watch to see which one pops first.  Loads of fun
