Egg sweating profusely. ..

Doing a clean burn on my egg and it is sweating and steaming. Is that normal? All sorts of crud running down it as well.

I haven't really ever had that problem, has your Egg sat unused for awhile? Uncovered?

Was uncovered good part of winter. Used it a few times, but only low and slow . This is first time I cranked it up

It's just moisture with grease in it.

after almost 2 years of ownership, mine did the same for the first time a couple weeks ago. I plan to use a little grease lightning to clean her up when its nice and sunny out.

I've had that happen if its been raining (eggs are uncovered) and I haven't used the eggs in a while. I see it more often with the small, since it is used the least.
