This thread went south quick. Hard for me to imagine a bunch of people spending thousands on grills with no retirement plan. I have paid the same taxes for years no matter who is in office not sure why this is brought up on a BBQ forum.

My plan is to retire at a reasonable age, start cooking on the Egg (or other fun toy) every day, significantly increase my beer intake, put on an extra hundo, and die of a massive heart attack at a slightly older age. All things considered, not a bad way to go.

Done. I'm ready to retire. If the day drinking of paternity leave was any indication of the fun to be had, I'm gonna be damn good at retiring.#1 LBGE December 2012 • #2 SBGE February 2013 • #3 Mini May 2013A happy BGE family in Houston, TX. -

Geez guys, you don't retire from life, just from the job/career. Many of you on here are interested not only in egging, but many other things. Retirement opens up some time to dive deeper into those areas ... or investigate a completely new area of interest ... or several areas of interest. Retirement is absolutely the best gig going.

Most popular cooker on the competition circuit is probably still the 18" Weber Smokey Mountain.
