Threw a pork loin on the Egg with some Honey Hog. Got a bit rushed and forgot to put my gloves on. Felt the flame come up and closed the lid quickly.

I've singed my hand hair so many times that it grows back thick. Now I have to singe it to keep it trimmed back! I used to work over a grill at a steak house.

not too bad, i still do that regularly. be extremely careful if there is steam in there from a drip pan with liquids in it, i got some really nasty blistering burns one tday

I enjoyed the Naked Whiz HD video... one of the youtube comments said words to the effect "Like I would let my kids be around THAT thing". I wanted to post "Yeah or you could watch the little ones & actually teach them some safety when old enough..

@RRog17 anytime over 400 sometimes lower. Lift the some about an inch and listen for the WHOOSH. Get in the habit anytime you open, but eventually you'll lose some hair.

Also so will backdraft out the bottom vent and get some leg hair.

I love when right after you drop the lid down 'cause the flames are KAWUMPPING and shooting out the front over the gasket, your Egg says, "I'm not finished yet" and it starts blowing smoke rings out the lower vent.

I've noticed with my LBGE when the heat gets up there, above 600 the egg starts making some noise. A Whoomp Whoomp sound, low but there.

I burned some ear hair off just last week. as well as arm hair and some hair in my head. I was cooking chili in the DO. Flames came ripping around the platesettr. Zoiks Scoob!
