First pizza on the XLBGE
New Egger here, made a meatloaf to start, then the pizza bug bit.

I started with a basic pepperoni (using fresh mozzarella) and then moved to a BBQ meatloaf version. So good. I am officially hooked.

The crust was very thin, and quite crisp. Couldn't be happier.

It looks great! You may want to consider using the plate setter or two stones. Although if you like a little char on the bottom that is cool as well. It is just a bit easier to control the temp of the stone you are cooking on if you have an indirect piece between the fire and the stone.Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

Thanks. I used the AR so the stone was pretty high. I like mine with some char, otherwise I would just use the oven! Thinking about getting another a plate setter but not sold yet. I have the AR/Woo2 for now.SmokeyPitt said:It looks great! You may want to consider using the plate setter or two stones. Although if you like a little char on the bottom that is cool as well. @Phillgui yes the pizza looks great. However what I really want to talk about is your bike!!! I'm guessin its an 800 cuz I've never seen a 650 or 700 Dakar. Tell me more. I'm very close to pulling the trigger on an adventure bike.LBGE& SBGE———————————————•———————– Pennsylvania / poconos

It is actually a 650 Dakar. 2003 model. Got it last year and I LOVE IT. The bikes are tall, but I am lowering it an inch this spring (once the weather in SE PA warms up). Wife has a DR350 that is loads of fun as well. PM me if you want to talk bikes!grege345 said:@Phillgui yes the pizza looks great. However what I really want to talk about is your bike!!!
