Christmas Cooking 2014

Hope everyone is ready for Christmas... We finished our shopping last night, I think Elise is going to be very happy with Santa's visit :)

Got to the store early this morning and picked up the holiday foods...

Today I started with a pot of soup out of the LeCrueset cookbook... Chicken Barley,  turned out really well.

Having my mom here tomorrow for Christmas Eve dinner. I wanted to do a small standing rib, wife shot that down and said filets... Oh alright.

Filets, grilled asparagus, blackened U-10 scallops, and another try making the yams... basically the same cook from a few weeks ago.

Christmas day we are going over to my brother in laws... I've committed to wings, which I'll do the morning of, and a batch of rattle snake tails that I will prep and likely cook later today since they reheat well. I am also bringing a handle of Tito's and a few bottles of Zing Zang to keep everything merry & bright...
