You should try their rib eyes my friend. It's the best 150 dollars you will ever spend in my estimate.lousubcap said:I don't work for SRF but do enjoy their products (actually brisket only)Location- Just "this side" of Biloxi, Ms.

@SGH-Bad enough I find their brisket to be almost habit forming. And since I've never had their rib eyes-I find their brisket (or any prime brisket for that matter) to be more flavorful and tasty than a rib eye. BTW-recently did a Costco prime for a family gathering (not Thanksgiving) and was quoted by a few-I like brisket better than steak. (And they were from CA-land of...) Thanks for the suggestion but I am in a SRF brisket rut (and not a bad place to be).Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Absolutely not a bad rut to be in. However if you like ribeye, I was just pointing out that theirs is of outstanding quality. Their ribeye is of the same quality as their brisket. Pricey for sure, but you know the old saying- You get what you pay for. I find all of their meat to be outstanding. That said, I'm a ribeye eating fool. They are one of my favorites for sure!! Some of the items on my to do list for Christmas is SRF brisket and ribeys. It should compliment the whole hog well. Or at least I hope.lousubcap said:@SGH-Bad enough I find their brisket to be almost habit forming. Nothing beats a prime ribeye.

@GATraveller-I would offer that a wagyu brisket can hold its own or better. There is something about the texture. But to each his own-and that's what makes it fun!
