    Seriously, that was a great post. I still have the raspberry sauce on my to do list.

    Looks like another gem of a thread, haven't read through yet, saving it for entertainment after dinner when I'm not so busy!

    My contributions? some that come to mind are ... loin bacon, tandoor cooks, soldering iron for cold smoking, redneck windshield wiper skewers, smoked butter ... ya I do weird stuff

    Looks like an airflow problem to me.  Have you tried using a kick ash basket?

    The raffle must of been before my time. I remember there was a guy who got his BGE stolen and everybody agreed to pitch in for a replacement. Before anybody donated someone replaced his egg. I'm sure it was somebody from the forum.

    I want to thank the members for the help and advice! I have been Eggin for almost six months now and the funny thing is that most of the help, advice, and feedback have come from those of you who have commented on this thread. The help has been unbelievable. And I agree with @Jeremiah‌ I do get to laugh also
