First time for Cazzy's wings

Good morning, hope everyone had a good weekend. Had a bit of a cold snap come through this weekend and woke up to a nice -41 C with the wind, it did warm up to a blistering -36 C by the time I was ready to start cooking though.

First go at some of Cazzy's wings, they turned out great, the nephew had them all gone in about 5 minutes. Should have tried these earlier. Thanks for the recipe @cazzy

Have a great week everyone.

Nice wings. Your place looks great, but glad I am in the middle of Texas (bitching about 48+).
Salado TX & 30A  FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Just given a Mini to add to the herd.

  • Wings were great, definitely differant then what we are used to. I wouldnt be bitching about 48+, felt pretty cold, just getting used to it still here for the season, wont take long.

Is that a boat in the picture behind your egg?  When the heck can use use it?
Was on Lake Pontchartrain in a boat yesterday. Weather was damp and 62 degrees. We were all freezing ;)

Yes its a boat, that one is a jet boat, I live minutes from the river, or I have a smaller one for some of the littler lakes around here. You can fish and boat around here from ~May till Late October early November depending on the year, then its onto ice fishing.

@AlbertaEgger --  What a beautiful part of the world you live in! So nice!

Down here in NOLA we don't get much changes in the seasons. We do have some small stretches of nice weather . But, plenty of either hot, humid, rainy or miserably cold days( 30's), mixed in with hurricanes every couple years.

Today happens to be beautiful so I'm not complaining.

I have been down there, years ago, had a great time, weather was definitely nice while I was there as well. I do love the season changes here. But none of them beat summers.

Lake Ponchartrain is not a lake, it's an estuary. Drove across that long ass bridge last time I was in NOLA going to the Abita Brewery. Fun times.

Amazing wings!  Love the scenery too, we had one blast already, but I look forward to a nice snow covered scene like you have there!  I don't mind Eggin in the cold, love the fact that beer gets colder by the second!  Have a few on standby in the snowbanks

The wings look great. As does the scenery.

Location- Just "this side" of Biloxi, Ms.

    Status- Standing by.

  • Thanks everyone. They definitely tasted good. And we do enjoy the scenery but will be sick of looking at the snow soon enough as always.

Come on down to Dixie and enjoy Christmas in shorts and flip flops ;)

Would love to. But don't get me wrong. We still go around in shorts. And flip flops when the deck is cleared. Doesn't take long to adjust to the weather. As long as your not out to long. We installed a great wood fire place in side this fall. Keeps the house damn warm. Pretty proud of it. Probably the best thing we have spent money on. (Besides the Egg). But yes. Doesn't take long to miss sitting outside in the heat in shorts and flips.
