Question about my regerstration

I am looking to see how I can find proof that I registered my egg.   I have no warranty claims or anything right now, but I searched all my email and I can't find a response that I did register my egg in order to qualify for warranty if I ever have any issues.   I do remember filling out all the online registration but is there I can confirm that it is in fact fully registered?

Thanks in advanced for the help

You can't find 'proof' ... Hell, the higher ups @ BGE don't even respond to emails. Maybe this question needs a direct phone call to the MotherShip. Good luck.

Thanks, I may do that just incase the day ever comes when I do need it.  I am 100% sure I filled it all out but can't seem to find a confirmation email or anything.

Thinking, I'm assuming you bought your egg from a bge dealer. If there's ever a problem I'd think that would be the first place to go, along with your original receipt.

It is an interesting question, both the .ca and the .com BGE sites take you to the same on-line registration form. We don't seem to have a Canadian registration process although all warranty parts come out of NorthWind in TO I think. Like yourself, I did not get confirmation that my completed form and egg number registration information went anywhere other than cyberspace.
I still have my receipt, but you would think it would be pretty simple to get a confirmation.

When I received a couple of gaskets under warranty, the dealer just took my receipt number and used it as proof of purchase from them so they could be reimbursed by BGE, or so I assumed.

That is my process. I go through my dealer. There is a form I fill out and I get my replacement. This forms asks where I got my egg and if a dome/base replacement is necessary, a picture is required of the crack

The dealer gets replacement warranty items from their distributor. Paragon is our distributor and my dealer orders replacement items from them.

I have purchased a few eggs from BGE direct and that purchase history is kept in their computer under my name. When I get warranty items if I am in Atlanta, it is generally a simple process. I tell them what is broke and they walk back and get my replacement

I never could find any proof of registration either. My firebox cracked and I went back to the original dealer w/ the original receipt. Had no problem getting a replacement.

I guess it begs the question - What if your dealer goes out of business? It does happen. Are other dealers obligated to honour the warranty? Not sure how that works.

I assume if you go to another dealer w/ an original receipt of purchase that they would help you out. Same situation would occur if you move. There has to be someone here on the forum this has happened to.

When my BGE cracked after 8 years, I couldn't find the receipt either. I emailed the place where I bought it in another city 90 miles away and within about 2 hours they emailed me a PDF of the receipt from 8 years go. I in turn emailed the receipt to my local dealer along with the appropriate photographs and BGE approved my warranty claim. Local dealer pulled a new base out of his warehouse stock and I was cooking within about 48 hours of discovering the crack.

Don't need to. It's stored on my computer now.
