OT-Convection Oven

I think I read somewhere that baking in convection mode may result in lopsided bread or cakes.Shiff said:...
The instructions in our book say not to use convection for baking but doesn't say why.canuckland -
I'm with you on the glass tops. We have an gas range and oven and my wife wishes the oven was a electric convection oven with a gas range. I like cooking with gas on the range, but the convection seems to bake better and cooks more evenly. @SGH, I do like the double oven though. The dual fuel oven is going to cost more. If its what she wants then I would make her happy and get it for her. Happy wife, happy life.onedbguru said:We remodeled last year and installed KitchenAid dual fuel (gas cook top, electric oven) 36" that also does convection. I ****HATE***** those silly glass cooktops they are so inconsistent and uncontrollable temps. Yuck!!!!XL, WSM, Coleman Road Trip Gas GrillKansas City, Mo.
