@Fred19Flintstone - That's the photographer's (who shot the video) kid.  There's no official drinking age in New Orleans, we're sorta like a third world country hanging off the edge of the delta down here.  We have more AAA programs than churches.

@SGH - I have two of those Dexter oyster knives - they're the best.  However, they only come in right handed models.  If you have any left handed shuckers, you need to get the Sinister knives. ;)

@nolaegghead‌ If you look closely at the pic you will notice that 2 of the knives are "Galvestons". The one in the middle is a "Boston". While not truly a left handed knife, the Boston can be used fairly well by left handed folks. It's why I purchased it instead of 3 Galvestons. The Galvestons are my preferred knife for Gulf oysters. A tough act to follow for sure my friend.

Oh I figured all was on the level. The boy was entertaining, sitting at the bar and his beverage looked like a screwdriver....

Meh, it is funny, but I honestly was a lil underwhelmed. I guess I just figured your gamesmanship was stronger than that. I'll keep hoping.

@SGH Brother I am very jealous of that shop! Man I would kill to have that much room to work in!! That's a nice looking anvil on the bottom shelf too! What type of forge do you use? I'm looking to find a decent propane fired forge (lack of space for coal fired).

For home use I like centaur forges. Reasonably priced and pretty good units to boot.
