New twist on spatchcock

I love making spatchcock chickens...super easy and a real hit with everybody. But I was trying to come up with something a little different...and I thought why not do a spatchcock General Tso's chicken?
Found a sauce recipe online and just basted the bird with it a few times during the cook. Then I poured a ladle of reserved sauce over the top after plating. Served with some rice and egg rolls. Family went nuts for it..all the taste but no takeout.

There you go...I used a little less water cause it looked like too much. But it thickened very nicely at the end.Boileregger said: -
