Been a long week; but so happy it's now the weekend...
Still waiting to hear back on when I can pick up that slicer, no worries, it's not like I have a lot invested LOL
Planning on egging a simple dinner tonight for my wife and I, and then listening to some baseball. Tomorrow, the Tigers have a day night double header so I picked up some marinated sirloin tips and some handmade chorizo and kielbasi. Might grab some wings as well in the morning for the days cook.
Tonight
Picked up a local prime filet for my wife and I had them hand cut a dry aged prime bone in ribeye. It's about 2" thick and weighs in at 1.86# I had blood work done this morning and I still haven't eaten yet, I'm at about 27hours and a little hungry. Doing them both caveman style and having them with a big salad and some cold Coronas
Pics later...
Have a great weekend everyone!

Did you get the MRI done?

+2 @hapster. Wife and kids are away and all I've eaten today has been a granola bar and a handful of almonds. I'll be Egging a big-ass bone-in ribeye and making a Caprese salad with fresh basil from my garden to go with. Sadly, I'll be watching the 4-A team currently calling themselves the Texas Rangers. 20+ players on the DL by July ain't pretty.
