Thanks John. Looks like there are some great back yards in this forum. I love the outdoor kitchens and the granite tops some of you have. I could use a cabinet or side table for sure!In the bush just East of Cambridge,Ontario

Mine's more utilitarian. My Egg table is about 15 years old and the square table on the right is on wheels so I can move it to where I need it. It may not look like much, but the view from the chairs is much more relaxing...

Hey jllbms, my set up is very similar to yours. Can you tell me about that tool bar on your steel table? Is it bolted on or magnetic? My steel table has a supporting bar under the frame so I cannot drill a hole for a bolt and a nut. Was looking for something magnetic or held down by strong double sided tape or something. Thanks!jllbms said:Nothin' fancy here. -
@ivada The tool bar is bolted in. It a cheap Amazon purchase that probably won't weather very well.Kemah, TX

What, no bottle opener?!? That cooking area is complete ****.Thatgrimguy said:Posted some shots of my area and remembered just how much I love my deck. I know most of you have a place you are proud to call home for your eggs. Be it a table, a corner or just your nest in the yard. Show us your cooking spot!!

Seriously gorgeous. So much better than a plain old deck. The egg tables have lots of stone and look to provide plenty of air circulation around the eggs.
What is that grill looking thing between the two eggs?

@KiterTodd. He doesn't need bottle openers; Champagne corks go off pop.

I kid, I kid. My backyard ain't great, but I'd rather cook at the ranch anyway. Just wish we had an Egg there.

Although I have taken the mini down there a few times

Open pit

Giving the ole offset some love

Can't have a ranch in Texas without some horses

And a windmill

or a truck that don't run

And a place to cool off

If I could make a go of it and SWMBO wouldn't be bored out of her skull, I'd move down there in a second.

With all the granite and the louver'ed back, it's pretty fire resistant. The louvered wood breathes real well all around the grill. So far it's working great! The thing is a 2 eye Gas stove from Bull outdoor products.

Dang Griffin. You should NOT have shown me that BBQ Donut. SWMBO will now be furious at me as I place the order...

That donut boat is a riot! I can think of many great ways to grill on a boat...and none of them involve building a boat around a grill. I don't think we're going to see Google buying this guy's company any time soon...Thatgrimguy said:

@sauki2007 depending on where you start from, its about a 2.5 hour drive.
This spring, we finished a duplex type cabin. Two separate rooms, each sleep 4. F-I-L decided it was time for more room with all the kids and grandkids and ours on the way.
