    I loves me the electric internet!!  I'm hopeful that SGH is alive and well, but then again there is always the possibility that he is someone's alter ego.  Now isn't mystery what makes the world go round?  It is a little incongruous that someone who has been on this forum since March has over 2500 posts.  Some posts have certainly been excellent, and he has assisted numerous folks.  Definitely not all bad, my brothers...

    I agree @tksmoke‌ SGH has helped a lot of people and has had some good cooks. And I've enjoyed going back and forth with him (as so have many others) on numerous occasions. Hopefully he is not a hoax. It would be pretty messed up if that were the case. But, nothing on here would surprise me at this point.

    I would be looking for a "new" forum member to burst onto the scene. Actually, it doesn't matter to me whether brother SGH is a shill account, or a real person. He has provided entertainment if nothing else here. And he has been helpful to boot. The internet provides a great opportunity for folks to express themselves in a semi-autonomous way. SGH clearly has quite a bit of lore to share. And possibly some blarney to go with it. Andy Kaufman suggested that his performance was for his own entertainment - blasphemy! I agree. Buyer beware - objects in the rear view mirror may not be real...

    I know it! He's a love-lorn, early divorcee, who lost his job at the Post Office about two years ago and has been unable to secure gainful employment. He's in his late forties and sits at his computer in his PJs (or not) all day.
    He moved back home with his single Mom who shouts up the stairs when his grilled cheese sammy is ready.
    He watches porn all day - food porn and has enough cookbooks to form a personal reference library.
    He used to drive past The Hearth and Grill Shop on his way to the Post Office and it represented the most exquisite lifestyle he saw as being unachievable.
    He becomes an on-line import/export agent for knockoff ladies handbags and stumbles across the forum. He sees a way to live his fantasy, vicariously, through access to the forum and to 'make friends' with all its members.

    I received an invitation to a 4th pig roast from SGH who lives < 30 miles from me. I couldn't make it, but I believe that it was legit. Can't comment on his specifics, but he seems like a stand up fellow.

    I'm following myself too.  I think it does that by default.  Which would mean you couldn't follow yourself because you already are.

    I'm following myself too.  I think it does that by default.  Which would mean you couldn't follow yourself because you already are.
    Makes sense.  I just thought I would be able to see that in my profile.
