Tips for a busy sap?

Like many of you, or former you's, I'm too busy to egg.  I have younger kids that are in sports/activities, work a full time job, and have a wife who is a nurse who works nights/weekends. Any tips for long cooks=meat for the week, quick bulk cooks, etc.  I love to Egg, but time is scarce.

I travel a lot for work, but when I am home I Egg almost every night, and for sure on weekends. Going on vacation tomorrow, and have 10 pounds of both Brisket and Pulled Pork vac sealed and frozen from last weekends cook. Cook when you can and eat when you want.

If the egg is hot, do a bunch of chicken breasts so you can use it in or as salad during the week. I also hard boil at least 2 dozen eggs for snacks, salads, etc.

Do you hard boil the eggs on the Egg?

I'm in a similar boat. On weekends, I cook a bunch of proteins to add to stuff during the week. Chicken breast, pork chops/loin, beef. Put on salad, add to stir fry, or reheat with fast-cooked sides.

Chops of any kind - lamb (my favorite) pork, steaks, can be prepared and cooked ahead of time for later consumption, chicken too.
All kinds of prep and rubs to try and experiment with. If you have a vacuum food saver machine and a freezer you're in like Flynn.

I emphasize with you @eggteeth‌ . I was very busy when the kids were still at home. Between the Army and the kids activities, it seemed like I had no time even to make macaroni and cheese. Lots of fast food. I wish I would of done it like the previous members that posted about making lots of meals at one time. Would of been healthier that's for sure.

Now that I'm retired from the Army and the kids are gone, Egging has filled a void of having too much time on my hands. I still have a full-time job, but I work twelves so I get a lot of days off. Both kids and my grandson are visiting right now, so Egging is kind of a must because restaurants are too expensive for all of us.

Like I said, I emphasize with you, but go ahead and enjoy all the activities while you can. They all seem to end way too fast. Try some of the suggestions above to get the most out of Egging.
