Cedar planked king salmon & potatoes for the Mrs & MIL.

Started the packet of small potatoes off first as they would take longer than the salmon. Then put on the planked salmon:

Put the potatoes on the upper grid over the salmon (should have raised the grid a little higher):

Great looking cooks. What temp did you cook the salmon at? I have a LBGE and cook mine at 400 raised direct. Takes about 15 minutes. Love it!

Brother you nailed those lamb chops. That's as close to perfect as it gets in my book. Excellent job!! =D>

Also I see that you cook them direct as well. It's my preferred method for small cuts of lamb.

I have the large egg and the Kamado joe jr. I do like my little joe but prefer cooking on the large egg. Maybe because it's what I started with and cooked on for so long. But that being said I do produce better results with the large. If I could keep only one it would definitely be my large egg. No question of it. Again your lamb is a home run.
