A couple of recent Mini cooks

Cedar planked king salmon & potatoes for the Mrs & MIL.
Started the packet of small potatoes off first as they would take longer than the salmon. Then put on the planked salmon:

Put the potatoes on the upper grid over the salmon (should have raised the grid a little higher):

Finishing up the salmon:

Off the Mini:

Some lamb chops:

Great looking cooks. What temp did you cook the salmon at? I have a LBGE and cook mine at 400 raised direct. Takes about 15 minutes. Love it!LBGE, Marietta, GA

Also I see that you cook them direct as well. It's my preferred method for small cuts of lamb.

I have the large egg and the Kamado joe jr. I do like my little joe but prefer cooking on the large egg. Maybe because it's what I started with and cooked on for so long. But that being said I do produce better results with the large. If I could keep only one it would definitely be my large egg. No question of it.
