  • @BigGreenCraigdotcom‌ - you've gotten your share of grief this week, but I gotta give you props for the chicken & rice recipe! I swapped cream of chicken for the mushroom soup. Quick prep, tons of flavor. Well done!!

I will agree with that, and since that thread he has bounced back like a pro! He is contributing here, and I enjoy looking at his cooks.

@BigGreenCraigdotcom I think your egg looks great. I remember how dirty it was in the "How to clean an Egg" post.

I used a ZEP Grill Cleaner. You basically spray it on, wait, then wipe it off. Pretty simple! I am really digging the custom handle.

Thanks! My mom got PISSED when she heard that i modified the recipe, but I only made it better! Thank you for the support.

@BigGreenCraig‌ Man I give you credit! You have found some really thick skin this week! The whole t shirt thing was a bit crazy and these guys have found a way to remind you every chance they get and you haven't once lost it or run for the hills. Thanks for sticking around and sticking it out. You obviously have some great egging skills and I'm sure you could teach a bunch of a few things. =D> @DMW That was funny! =))

    Looking good, Craig.

@Biggreencraig The above comment was meant completely in jest. I guess it did deserve a Troll flag. My wife and kids are gone for about 10 days so I'm just sitting here watching the Phillies lose, drinking beer, eating peanuts, and trolling the forum. :))
It has gotten a little out of hand. However, I appreciate the humor in all of it. Perhaps things would have been different if I were an Egghead Forum veteran. Although I am new to the forum, I assure you that Egging is in my blood.

Don't sweat it. I got blasted on here when I wrote about long range hunting for deer when I was new to the forum. We all have things we agree and disagree on. That's what makes us human.

No, sir. ZERO polishing here. However, my Egg was almost black because it was so filthy. Just simply cleaning it a bit.

Thanks. Someone told me that it look like my Egg made it through World War II. I figured I needed to clean it up a tad.

Mine was too. I'm sure it will be yellow this afternoon. Are you going to the EGGfest in Hiawassee?

  • Chris_WangChris_Wang Posts: 1,253
@BigGreenCraigdotcom‌ Unfortunately not this year. We are moving to Ball Ground and can't make the fest. However, I plan on going in the future. The next fest I go to will probably be the mothership's fest at Stone Mtn in October... Can't remember the name of it... ;)

The mothership retweeted that, so that's old news for guys like me, who are young and embrace technology - some of these old farts can barely figure out the forum, yet alone Twitter.

    LOL.

Looks good, Craig. Like the handle. You've been a trooper this week and have ridden the storm through pretty well. I didn't get the joke about the shirt at first, was just thinking dirty ole trag t-shirt. Ya gotta admit it was pretty funny.

This is the cleaner that I used. Basically, you spray it on, let it sit, then wipe down with a damp rag. I have to do it a couple times to get through all the grime. image
