I only know of the 80's from my parents and watching Len Bias highlights.Foghorn said:The Duke haters I know list Wojo at the top, largely because of the floor slapping. And none of them hated Jason Williams.
You may not be old enough to remember the early 80's in the ACC. Maryland's team of Albert King, Buck Williams, Ernest Graham, etc was as much fun to watch as UNC's team with Jordan, Worthy, Perkins, etc. It was a good time to have free seats at Cameron.
1:01 should tell you all you need to know about my hate for Jason(Jay) Williams. Irrational, I know. -

Harrison is moving up the draft board every game.
-
I doubt it based on Calipari's history. I think Harrison x 2, Randle, and Young are gone after the tournament they had.

It looks like none of us have any potential points left so the standings are final. If you finished in 12th place or lower please change your tag line to read something to the effect of "I bow to YEMTrey, the college basketball guru of the Egghead Forum". You can change back when Midnight Madness tips off the first practice of the next season.
Congrats @YEMTrey

That team never existed. Hopefully that doesn't happen to a Calipari team again, since it happened twice before.1310monster said:Kentucky is in the position of succeeding at what Michigan's Fab Five didn't accomplish in 1993.

Stay classy, KY fan.
Also, it was the 92 team that you want to compare, since they were sophomores in 93.
Not that it matters, Ed Martin made sure of that. If it's necessary, look up UMass in 96 and Memphis in 08.
I sure hope you're just drunk since I'm apparently gay for growing up rooting for a basketball conference. I'll be sure to let my wife and daughters know.
Lastly, sorry to burst both of our bubbles, but best ever? UCLA.

I was so busy installing a new wifi thermostat for the house I totally forgot to watch the pole-smoking tonight. Dammit. I suppose I see enough of that on this forum. Heh, heh heh, heh....he said "pole".

@nolaegghead, what did you put in? I'm rolling with a Honeywell.

@eggcelsior Yeah, I put in a Honeywell. Got it all set up, phones, computer. The nest was tempting but the 2 degree swing and some complaints from HVAC people swung me to the Honeywell. Figure this will save a bundle as we have weird schedules and we can shut down the system and fire it up anytime we want. I put our HVAC system in about 7 years ago. Got a crane to put the condenser on the roof, just replaced all the ducting myself a couple weeks ago. More insulation, a solar system....we're getting better. I remember the days of $350 electric bills. And that's in a 1450 square foot house plus 650 square foot manbearcave. Ridiculous.

Eggcelsiornolaegghead which models of the Honeywell did you get? Going to be building a house in September and I just started doing my research on wifi thermostats. The wife wants the nest, but she only wants it because it looks pretty.Large and Small BGECentral, IL

@saluki2007, I have the RTH6580WF.

100 bucks. Does exactly what I need it to do. Wifi, 7-day programmable, unobtrusive. There are some with more options(color, touchscreen, adaptive temp control) but nothing for me that justified an extra 50-150+ dollars more. My energy bills have dropped by 10 bucks/month this winter. I'm looking forward to A/C season. -
We moved into our house last summer and previous owner put in a NEST. Yes it looks sharp but also very easy to setup and use. Changing the temp using the app on my phone is really nice. I am not sure about price comparisons, but I would recommend the product.Columbus, OH
