Buy it online from Firecraft and let them ship it to you for free for orders over $100 (5 bags). Cheaper than the trip you have planned and it will likely be there before the weekend so you can spend your time egging instead of driving

If you're already going to be there, sure, pick some up. But at least for me, I wouldn't drive anywhere near that far and certainly wouldn't spring for a hotel for some lump, regardless of its brand or reputation.

I just made pizza with rockwood, amazing flavor. I had nice size pieces after shipping, starts easy, and the flavor is recognizable. You really can tell the difference, I was using big green egg. This was a win for me!
