Going to pull the trigger on one soon. Want something I can monitor and control from work or the bar via phone or laptop, so looks like these are my two best bets. Thoughts?

Why the bar? Why don't you just set yourself up by the egg with your drinks of choice? No driving, cheaper, you know the bartender, and you get the benefits of the ambiance of the egg smoking along...
Work? I can totally see why you'd want to be able to control from there...

I am a fan of the stoker. But it is the only one I have used and love it.Large BGE, MiniMAX BGE, 2 Mini BGE's, R&V Fryer, 36" Blackstone Griddle, Camp Chef Dual Burner 40K BTU StoveBGE ChimineaProsper, TX

Check out the Naked Whiz's reviews of both, very extensive. As for me, I am happy with my CyberQ Wifi. Before I had my pit controller I wouldn't get **** for sleep during overnight cooks, I was paranoid. Or the alarm on my maverick would wake me up a couple times. Now I don't even think about it, the last brisket I smoked I was up and at 'em for an hour before I remembered it was on the egg. Total peace of mind.I did a lot of research before I bought mine and what did I determine? You can't go wrong with either of the two.

I will say one thing about using these, the best brisket I have done so far was salt, pepper, close the dome and pulled it 14 hours later. Never looked at it.
