Let me set the stage, I am a guest at my cousins house on Thanksgivng. They did a bird that was breasts only, As the uncle and cousin were arguing about how much longer to let the turkey cook, they kept saying it is at 163 and we need to let it go until 190. My uncle insisted you HAVE to let it go to 190. As I am watching Dallas fumble the opening kickof, I casually glance at my cousin and quietly say, white meat goes to 165, dark meat goes to 180. He tells my uncle the same thing. My uncle in disbelief looks it up on his iPhone. After a brief search he agrees and my cousin is decalared a genius and we have a successful turkey. I let the cousin have the accolades and we have successful Thanksgiving...... heheheheh

Good work. Seems like almost everyone over cooks turkey. I don't get it. Think how many turkeys your uncle has ruined over his turkey cooking life. Better late than never.XL,L,SWinston-Salem, NC
