Silicone material for 'protecting' the egg from tile table

Good evening,

I've made a table for my Large BGE made of cedar with a tile top.  I have found that when I roll the table on our paver patio the egg can bump into the tile.  I'd like to put something flexible between the egg and the tile, any suggestion that would be heat resistant and not harm the egg.

I did notice around the bottom vent door a clear, high temperature 'silicone-like' material.  Could I use something like that? (not to do a continuous bead, but maybe at 6-10 points around the egg.  What is that material that is used to seal the vent-door to the egg?  Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Dave
