Merry Christmas
Mrs. Parallel's Uncle and Aunt are Mr & Mrs Santa Claus. They do a GREAT job even with the most difficult of children (like mine... LOL). We wish you all a very Merry Christmas or whatever your faith calls the season.

Last Christmas they (Mr and Mrs. Santa Claus) were coming to our place for Christmas dinner. We got a frantic call that they had crashed and were "in the water". Now... round these parts water runs DEEP, so I hauled ass out the door to get to where they said they had gone into the water. When I got there they were in about a foot and a half of water and didn't want to get their shoes and clothes wet.
Santa... er... ummm... Jim drove a big ol' red Ford and we all called it Santa's Bayou sleigh. I found out from the teacher that when they returned to school our boy told the whole class that "Santa" had crashed his Bayou Sleigh while on the way to our house for Christmas dinner

Great story! - yeah, water traps everywhere around airline and that area. I work out in St. Rose and, like everywhere around NOLA, water management seems to be mostly comprised of diggin' ditches.
