Happy 4th everyone. I want to say thank you to everyone who has served in the military and who are still serving to support and defend our freedom. I also want to say thank you to everyone who supports our military because our troops need you. Enjoy your day. Today it's Boston Butt! Heck yea. Simple rub and the grill is set at 250. I'll post pictures later.

Very simple today....smoked boudain....grill set about 250 for a couple of hours....apple wood and hickory. Oh yeah, for libations it is plenty of cajun beer and the occasional sip of some good anejo tequila.
Indeed God bless our troops and Happy 4th to all who believe in freedom!

Pair of St. Louis ribs...a taste comparison...one with Texas BBQ rub, the other with a home made Memphis dry rub. Both should be excellent.Fairview, Texas

I cooked 7 slabs of Memphis style Rendezvous ribs yesterday on the XL and toward the end of the cook I fired up the large and cooked 4 whole chickens. Toward the end of that, I fired up the small and cooked 5 pounds of baked beans with two pounds of pulled pork in em. I was one tired puppy by the end of the day. So today, Im relaxing and eating burgers off my brothers grill!
